The international technology trade fair IFA 2025, held at Messe Berlin, brought together hundreds of manufacturers and start-ups that presented innovations set to influence the global tech market in the coming years. From AI integrated directly into devices to AR glasses with real-time translation, robots capable of climbing stairs and hybrid gadgets, the event offered a clear look at the direction technology is taking.
For additional information, see The most innovative tech gadgets of 2025 that could change your life, an article that explores an aspect directly related to this subject.
1. On-device AI and smarter homes
One of the most widely discussed trends is on-device AI.
SwitchBot AI Hub recognises faces, animals and objects, detects falls, and automatically improves smart-home scenarios. Meanwhile, AI Art Frame, an E Ink display that can show AI-generated images, brings digital art into the living room. Last but not least, the Noa & Niko robot companions, shaped like penguins, drew attention with their entertaining interactions and ability to learn daily routines.

2. Striking hybrid gadgets
Among the products with a real wow factor was Nebula X1 Pro, a party speaker and projector that combines powerful sound with video projection, designed for both parties and family movie nights. Its launch is planned for March 2026 via Kickstarter.

3. Home robotics: autonomy at a new level
One of the most highly regarded prototypes was Dreame Bionic QuadTrack, a robot vacuum capable of climbing stairs thanks to its track-like “leg” system. This type of innovation could eliminate one of the biggest limitations of cleaning robots.
4. Dyson and the smart-cleaning revolution
Dyson V16 Piston Animal is an exceptionally powerful cordless vacuum cleaner (315 AW), with a dual anti-hair-tangle head and the CleanCompaktor system. Also at IFA, Dyson launched Spot+Scrub AI, a robot that detects stains and cleans them automatically through a combination of mopping and vacuuming.

5. Futuristic laptops and tablets
- Lenovo ThinkBook VertiFlex: a concept laptop with a rotating display, allowing users to switch from landscape to portrait mode for multitasking and presentations.
- Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra: a flagship tablet with a 14.6-inch AMOLED display, an ultra-slim design, long battery life and improved DeX support—a serious rival to the iPad Pro.

6. Wearables and health
- Fitbit Charge 7: advanced heart monitoring and integrated ECG.
- Apple Watch Series 10: blood-glucose monitoring functionality and extended battery life.
These devices bring clinical-grade medical analysis directly to the wrist.
7. Smartphones with innovative displays
TCL NXTPAPER 60 Ultra uses NXTPAPER 4.0 technology, with a flicker-free, eye-protective “paper-like” display. It is intended for users who read or work on their phones for hours at a time.

8. Innovations for the office and productivity
Anker Prime Docking Station impressed with its 14 ports, 8K support, DisplayPort and HDMI, plus an active cooling system. Alongside it, the Anker Prime Power Bank (26,250 mAh, 300W output) charges to 40% in just 10 minutes—a must-have for mobile professionals.

9. Smart home: lighting and energy
- Philips Hue Bridge Pro and the new Matter-compatible A19 bulbs.
- Govee Outdoor Lights with IP68 certification and advanced app control.
These products mark a new stage in the interoperability of smart devices.
IFA 2025 demonstrated that the future of technology means:
- AI integrated into every aspect of life (on-device, not only in the cloud)
- Hybrid and multifunctional devices
- Advanced home robotics
- Wearables with real medical value
- Eye-friendly and flexible displays
These trends will shape the market in 2026 and change the way we relate to technology in everyday life.
