New Dacia 2025: Striking Design, Modern Technology and Surprising Prices — Everything You Need to Know

Technology5 min read

2025 may mark the most important moment in Dacia’s recent history. Romania’s homegrown carmaker is once again surprising the market with a completely refreshed line-up, modern design and technologies that, only a few years ago, nobody would have associated with Dacia.

From the production-ready Bigster concept to the facelifted Spring and hybrid versions of established models, Dacia 2025 means more than “the simple, cheap car” — it is becoming a symbol of balance between price, innovation and practicality.

Let’s explore all the details of the new Dacia range, how the powertrains have changed, the technologies available inside and the prices announced by the company.

New Dacia identity: logo, philosophy and brand DNA

In 2022, Dacia took its first step towards its current image by unveiling the minimalist new “Dacia Link” logo and a colour palette dominated by khaki green.

In 2025, this visual identity has been consolidated: all models proudly display the new logo on the grille, full-LED headlights with Y-shaped light signatures, and a robust exterior design inspired by the Bigster concept.

🔹Dacia’s philosophy in 2025:

  • Modern simplicity
  • Durability and an outdoor spirit
  • Essential yet accessible technology

The new range combines traditional practicality with appealing contemporary style and a clear message: “Dacia is cool now.”

Dacia Bigster — the SUV that will change perceptions

Perhaps the most anticipated launch is the Dacia Bigster, a compact SUV nearly 4.6 metres long that will compete directly with models such as the Hyundai Tucson, Kia Sportage and Renault Austral, but at a significantly lower price.

What we know so far:

  • Muscular design, with straight lines, a wide grille and black protective cladding
  • Minimalist interior, but with a 10-inch central screen and digital instrument cluster
  • Mild-hybrid and full-hybrid powertrains (140 hp), with possible LPG versions
  • 4×4 system available on top versions
  • Estimated price: from €23,000–€25,000 (significantly below rivals)

The Bigster marks Dacia’s move into the C segment, with modern design, generous space and cutting-edge technology.

Dacia Spring facelift 2025 — the city goes electric, but more attractively

The Dacia Spring quickly became the best-selling electric vehicle in Romania and one of Europe’s most affordable EVs.

For 2025, the Spring receives a noticeable facelift inspired by the Bigster and Jogger:

  • LED headlights, new logo and redesigned bumpers
  • Interior with more pleasant materials and a larger central screen
  • Slightly larger battery (27.4 kWh > 30 kWh), claimed range: more than 235 km WLTP
  • The 45 hp electric motor remains, while an improved 65 hp version (from 2023) is introduced

Estimated price: starting below €15,000 after Rabla Plus subsidies, remaining the cheapest EV in the EU.

New Dacia Duster 2025 — robust and closer to off-road capability

The Duster remains Dacia’s bestseller and, in 2025, arrives with a new generation based on the CMF-B platform (the same one used by the Jogger and Sandero).

What’s new:

  • LED headlights, 3D rear lights and a wide grille with the new logo
  • Fully redesigned interior with a 10-inch infotainment screen
  • Powertrains: 130 hp mild hybrid, 140 hp full hybrid; diesel is discontinued
  • Automatic gearbox available on the hybrid
  • Genuine all-wheel drive for higher-spec versions

Duster 2025 becomes more refined while retaining the adventurous spirit that made it famous.

Jogger, Sandero and Logan in 2025: more digital, cleaner

Dacia Jogger

  • Receives the 140 hp hybrid powertrain (already available)
  • New logo and full-LED headlights
  • Possible limited “Extreme” edition for camping enthusiasts

Sandero & Logan

  • Subtle facelift: redesigned bumpers, headlights and rear lights
  • Larger central screen (8–10 inches)
  • ECO-G (LPG) and 1.0 TCe 110 hp mild-hybrid versions

All models focus on connectivity: wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto and fast USB-C charging.

New technologies found in Dacia 2025

In the past, Dacia was “low-cost” and minimalist. In 2025, technology becomes an integral part of the package:

  • Adaptive cruise control (on the Bigster and Duster)
  • Lane-keeping assist
  • Automatic emergency braking
  • 360° camera (optional on the Bigster)
  • Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto
  • Multi-view system (for off-road driving)

Even the facelifted Spring will have a mobile app: you can check charging, start the climate control or locate the car.

How much will the new Dacia range cost in 2025? (estimates)

Model Entry-level version Top version
Spring facelift ~€15,000 with Rabla ~€19,000 (65 hp, maximum equipment)
Sandero facelift ~€13,500 ~€18,500
Logan facelift ~€14,000 ~€19,000
Jogger hybrid ~€22,000 ~€26,000

Prices remain competitive, even amid global price increases.

Production and future plans

  • Mioveni plant produces the Duster, Bigster and Logan.
  • Tangier plant (Morocco) produces the facelifted Spring and Sandero.
  • Dacia’s plan: 100% electrified models (mild hybrid, hybrid or fully electric) by 2030.
  • 2026–2027: possibly a smaller electric SUV and a compact van.

A unique price-to-equipment ratio in Europe
Low maintenance costs
Extensive service network
Modern yet robust design
ECO-G (LPG) variants for lower running costs
A Romanian brand that inspires pride

Dacia 2025 and sustainability

  • The Bigster and Duster will use recycled plastic in bumpers and trim.
  • All new models will be compatible with alternative fuels.
  • Dacia promotes “essential technology, not excess”, reducing its carbon footprint.

A more mature Dacia, but just as smart

If 10 years ago you bought a Dacia only because it was cheap, in 2025 you choose one for its design, comfort, technology and image as well.

The Bigster is ready to become the new flagship, the Spring facelift remains the most affordable EV, and the Duster 2025 is once again winning over roads and country tracks.

Dacia is entering the digital era while retaining the DNA that made it successful: simplicity, robustness and reasonable prices.
